Dr. Sue Chin Liu has been certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics since 2005. She is among the Diplomates who hold non-time-limited certificates. The certification process includes written examination and detailed clinical patient case reports. The voluntary participation of this certification process demonstrates Dr. Liu's continued commitment to a high standard of clinical excellence.
Invisalign 2024 Platinum Plus Provider
Dr. Liu has been a certified Invisalign provider since 2001, and she is a 2024 Platinum Plus Provider. She has extensive experience to use Invisalign to treat adult and teenager patients.
Clinical Experience with Genetic Research Background
Dr. Liu received her dental degree in 1992 and PhD degree in 1993 from the University of Connecticut. Her PhD research was to identify gene defects of patients with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bone Disease). In 1995, she completed her specialty training in Orthodontics at OHSU and has practiced in Connecticut, Beaverton, NW Portland, and Lake Oswego since 1995.
